Even without holding public office, Chairman of Rawal Foundation, Khaqan Waheed Khawaja, has been providing quality education at affordable costs through institutions established with his own investment. His vision is to introduce internationally recognized educational systems such as IB, O-Levels, and A-Levels, replacing outdated curricula and ensuring a uniform, world-class standard of education across the country. He also advocates making the Holy Quran (with translation) a compulsory subject from standard 1 to Grade 10 to promote moral values, character building, and ethical development based on Quranic teachings.
Technical Education & Employment
Under the dynamic leadership and visionary guidance of Khaqan Waheed Khawaja, the Rawal Foundation is providing free Technical and E-commerce training programs that equip youth with modern, income-generating skills. Upon successful completion of the free 3- or 6-month courses, students are awarded IT diplomas in collaboration with the internationally recognized institute NAVTTC. Hundreds of students are now earning from home through digital platforms, while skilled workers receive specialized training and get overseas employment opportunities. These initiatives are creating pathways to financial self-reliance and contributing valuable foreign remittances to Pakistan's economy.
