Addressing the Water Crisis
Water Boring Chairman of Rawal Foundation Khaqan Waheed Khawaja, has ensured a permanent supply of water in eighteen rural / outskirt areas of Islamabad in his constituency NA-48 through water boring projects wherever underground water is available. These initiatives were undertaken to facilitate residents who had long been deprived of access to water. As a result, people across these areas are benefiting from a reliable water supply.
How Rawal Foundation Helps
Provision of Water Tankers In parts of constituency NA-48 where underground water is scarce, Chairman Rawal Foundation Khaqan Waheed Khawaja is providing free water to residents through own water Tanker services. In addition, Model Awami water tankers of Rawal Foundation have been stationed at the homes of appointed councilors at the ward level in every Union Council. These tankers are ensuring an uninterrupted water supply to the local community.
